Every idea starts with a need.

From a simple idea to a socio-technical platform

The initial thoughts and ideas were very strongly linked to sovereignty and the right to self-determination from the very beginning.

About

Colabonate is a next-generation socio-technical framework designed to bridge the trust gap in the digital economy by fusing autonomous governance, sovereign digital identity, and direct on-chain computation.

General

Hosted on the Internet Computer (IC) and integrated with Bitcoin/Lightning, Colabonate empowers communities to transition from merely using digital platforms to collectively owning, co-creating, and self-governing their digital futures. Based in Lübeck, the journey begins with a passion for innovative design and the dream of creating a more beautiful world, together.

The system’s purpose (WHY), its architecture (WHAT), its practical application (HOW), and its long-term vision (WHAT FOR) is articulated in the 4MAT framework paper as a concept.

The Idea and first steps

For many years now, I have been using my free time to think about a solution to the problem of digital interaction possibilities with regard to relevant use cases, and in doing so, I have explored many avenues of discovery to develop my design iterations and interactive Figma prototypes.

Key Outcomes:

  • User-Centered Design
  • Effective Information Architecture
  • Comprehensive User Flows
  • Low-Fidelity Wireframes
  • Enhanced Usability
  • Solid Foundation for Next Steps

In the following image you will see the links between the individual states of the application and ways to follow user flows to achieve specific advantages.
